Em & Steve's Baby Shower

My good friends Em & Steve are finally pregnant! I am so happy for them. I've had a great friendship with them both and they mean so much to me. They have both been a big part of my life since I came back to San Diego, after leaving The Bay Area.

This weekend was their baby shower. It was great to see old friends and to see how we've all changed! We're really all "growing up"!!!!

A Day at the Beach

While Daddy worked, the boys and I spent the day at Mission Bay for a few hours. Our friends Eve and Shay came to hang out with us too. It was a beautiful sunny San Diego day as usual.

Potty Training has officially begun!

Konnor goes pee pee in the potty for the first time! I came home from the grocery store lastnight and Konnor was eager to tell me the news! I could barely understand what he was saying...but he just kept pointing to the potty in the bathroom! Then Kevin had to explain to me what he did! Kevin was so excited that for once, he was home to see Konnor do something for the first time. I was so proud of Konnor! I actually didn't believe it.

So the next morning I wanted to see if he'd comfortably go in the potty again on his own. As we were getting ready to head to San Diego to go to Sea World, he stopped me and said, "Go potty Mommy." And ran to the bathroom. Sure enough...he did it! I got to see it this time with my own eyes! YAY....potty training has officially begun! :-) I am so proud! It's one step closer to being a BIG BOY! Good job Konnor!!!

Suzanne of Something Me Photography is a new up and coming Mom starting her own photography business. As she is starting, she had advertised to photography newborns and children to build her portfolio. I emailed her and scheduled a photoshoot. Suzanne came to our home and had all her backdrops and props. She was very friendly with my sons and really captured "the moments". Especially that my oldest son didn't want to just sit in one place. She followed him all around the backyard has he played, showed off and was silly.

Infantino ROCKS

Infantino is a popular baby company who makes all kinds of toys and baby gear. Because of their great customer service, we had received a FREE Infantino Happy Lion's Play mat from them. We originally had the Happy Hippo Playmat but had some problems with it, so I wrote into their customer service department. They were quick to fix the problem.

Now Kameron has a functional playmat and LOVES IT!
